Taufik Hidayat finally go forward to the final round Indonesia Open Super Series 2009. Facing Sony Dwi Kuncoro, Taufik Hidayat win straight set win 21-17 and 21-14.
In Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Sabtu (21/6/2009), Taufik appeared relatively more dominant since the first set. Several times Sony’s jolt hit the net and good for Taufik. Taufik is also close this set 21-17 after his smash can not be returned by Sony.
In the second set, Taufik continued dominant again and the resistance with the score 21-14.
With the results of this game, Taufik is likely to reach the his seventh title in Indonesia Open. Meanwhile for Sony, this defeat makes him fail to maintain a degree of last indonesia Open Super Series.
In the final round, Taufik will meet Lee Chong Wei (Malaysia).
